Are you ready for a perfect mountain vacation? This brand new log cabin has all the bells and whistles that will make your well-deserved vacation truly memorable. A Sunrise Sensation is in a prime location as the drive to this home is less than five minutes from downtown West Jefferson where there are art galleries, quaint gift shops and antique malls.

When you arrive, you’ll find a wonderful covered full-length deck out front where you will be able to enjoy the fabulous sunrises and the cool mountain evenings! Not only that, but an added bonus is on the back deck – a hot tub! You can relax your cares away as you soak in the hot tub and gaze up to the sky.

A Sunrise Sensation features two private bedrooms along with two full baths. This cabin will sleep four comfortably - perfect for couples or families. The master bedroom on the main floor features a comfy king bed and the upstairs bedroom has a queen. The beautiful all wood interior is accented in the great room by the vaulted ceiling, the stone fireplace, and the leather furniture.

The gas fireplace will warm you up on those cool mountain nights. There’s also satellite TV both in the great room and master bedroom and a game table for visitors of all ages. The kitchen is equipped with all of the items needed to prepare a gourmet meal as well as a dishwasher. If you to wish to enjoy the outdoors while cooking, there is a gas grill just outside the kitchen area.

A Sunrise Sensation has central heat and air to provide comfort in any season. Local phone service is available and most cell phone services work well in this area. The cabin is equipped with a washer and dryer if the need to use them arises. All linens and towels are supplied. Small pets under 25lbs are allowed.

As for the attractions in the area, you can enjoy dining in one of the many new restaurants or the famous buffet restaurant of Shatley Springs. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a short 10 minute drive from the cabin. Whether you are young, old or somewhere in-between, we are sure you will enjoy touring the parkway where fabulous mountain views are yours to behold at the overlooks along the way.

If you wish to explore - a short scenic drive will put you in the Boone and Blowing Rock area where you’ll find Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, gem-mining in Foscoe, various ski slopes, Grandfather Trout Pond, and Tanger Outlets. *Do you have extended family who wish to stay close by but in separate cabins?

"Above the Rest" sits next door. Only a row of trees providing privacy separate the two. "Rest Assured" is just around the corner. Combining these three units will allow you to have a business retreat or accommodations for multiple families so that everyone can enjoy the mountains together. .
