Grill dinner on the large deck, followed by a campfire on the banks of the river.

Look at thousands of stars, and in the morning watch the mist float down the river. Easily accessible in all seasons, the cabin is a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, or West Jefferson, and in winter months, a 40 minute drive to the ski area of Sugar Mountain. Inside, the beautifully decorated river house has gas log fireplace, 27" TV/VCR/DVD Satellite in the family room, and 19" TV/VCR in one of the bedrooms.

There are many board games, puzzles, books and movies. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, and many small appliances including coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, etc. There is a washer dryer in the home, and the sofa coverts to a queen bed for additional sleeping.

Outside the home, you have access to a private hot tub and ping pong table on the lower level. A nice fire pit with built in benches is located on the banks of the river. Other outdoor amenities include regulation horse shoe pit, volleyball and badminton. There is a gas grill located on the large deck overlooking the river, with table, chairs, and rustic benches made by a local craftsman.
